Events of Criminal Case

Medhekar was spoken to by the player and Jack after they found the victim's dead body. When asked about the victim, he said Deepak just joined; and though a bit wet behind the ears, he did not deserve his untimely death. He also said he was not involved in any big cases, at least none that could run the risk him getting murdered.

Medhekar was interrogated again regarding a disciplinary report about the victim, which he signed. He said he just wished to protect the victim's reputation, though he believed he did not deserve it due to him digging into people's past against police procedure. Jack wondered if he dogged anything up about the Chief, to which he confessed that he was in a street gang as a teenager. Though the police did not think it was a problem, Medhekar said the victim felt police work was about destroying people's lives for their mistakes; saying it was no wonder he crossed the wrong person and got himself killed.

Medhekar was found to be innocent after the team incarcerated Amrita Kumar for Deepak's murder. However, the Chief requested the player's help once again, and Jonah decided to come along. He said before Deepak died, he was on the trail of a serious criminal, though he never got a chance to show him the evidence. Jonah assumed the Chief wanted them to find the evidence Deepak discovered, which he confirmed. Though he was not sure what to look for, he knows some of the evidence was kept at Deepak's home, though due to the tsunami it could be all over his neighborhood by now. This prompted the player and Jonah to search the victim's street in order to find that evidence.
