Events of Criminal Case
Clarence became a suspect after Isaac and the player found a photograph of him and the victim in the victim's hideaway. He expressed his sorrow at her murder and said that he could've never imagined such a fate for her after their happy childhoods. He said that his sister was as quick-witted as anyone, before revealing that her mind began to falter after she decided to marry into the Rochester family, and while someone may have killed her body, her mind had been destroyed by the Rochesters a long time ago.
Clarence was spoken to again about an old newspaper article detailing how he couldn't compete in an international violin tournament due to him sustaining a broken arm. He explained that two weeks prior to the competition, Patricia had tripped him over and he broke his arm. While it was an accident, he had refused to speak to her, despite her pleas and apologies. He then said that while their relationship had gotten back to normal, he never took the time to tell her that he didn't blame her for the accident.
Clarence was found to be innocent after the team incarcerated Sylvia May for Patricia's murder.
