Connor was the chief of Grimsborough scouts. He had black hair, brown eyes, and a short mustache. He wore a standard scout leader outfit consisting of a green scout uniform, a hat folded over, and a red ascot with a blue badge above his left shirt pocket that reads "SCOUT MASTER".
Connor and his scouts were out in the forest for the annual Scout Survival Camp. He was later stabbed by his killer and then tied to a bonfire, but fortunately, the bonfire was later extinguished by the rain, and Connor's body was found by a group of his young scouts, including Ayden Young.
After autopsying Connor's body, Nathan Pandit stated that the victim had already died before being tied to the bonfire, and that killer had either tried to burn all the evidence, or they wanted to send a message to the scouts. Nathan further said that what really killed the victim were half-dozen knife blows that stabbed his torso. One of them had hit his heart and as a result, he died in a matter of seconds. Nathan also found traces of First Aid which revealed that the killer tried to bring Connor back to life immediately afterwards, but it was already too late. There were two possible explanations for it: the killer either felt remorse after stabbing Connor, or they wanted the victim to be alive while being burned to a crisp. This obviously meant that the killer knew First Aid gestures.
Inspector Jones and the player, later on, investigated James Savage's shack located just near the camp. Whilst investigating the place, the team found a knife covered with blood, and realized that Nathan had told them that Connor was killed by a sharp object. They then collected a blood sample from the bloody knife and gave it to Grace Delaney for analysis. After completing the analysis, Grace told the team that the collected blood sample from the knife had come positive for the victim, and that the blade of the knife matched the marks left on Connor's body. Therefore, the knife was the murder weapon. Grace thus concluded that the handle of the knife was not only stained with blood, but also chocolate, which suggested the killer to be fond of chocolate.
Killer and motives
The killer turned out to be Connor's Eagle Scout, Isaac Weston.
Connor got drunk one night and lit a fire in a restricted zone of the camp, despite being warned by James a few many times. Isaac then saw the fire and just when he was putting it out with a branch, Connor showed up and started arguing with the Eagle Scout. On retaliation, Isaac hit Connor with the branch, after which the victim got up and grabbed Isaac's throat. To save himself, Isaac stabbed Connor with James's knife (Isaac had found the knife a day before in the forest). He then continued to stab the victim again and again out of anger. Moments later, Isaac felt guilty and tried to revive his Scoutmaster, but it was too late. He then tied the victim to a bonfire since he did not want the young scouts to see the dead body. A while later, when Isaac returned after ditching James's knife in his shack in an attempt to frame the innocent hunter, the rain had already started and the bonfire was extinguished, while the young scouts were staring at Connor's body with fear in their eyes.
