Events of Criminal Case
The victim, Tom Blackwater, was a student at the Grimsborough College, who also had a part-time job on the side for a company called Golden Land, which used to buy up agricultural land and turn in into railway lines. Tom was supervised by Dylan and his latest assignment was to buy up the Amish land to build a railway line through it. After gaining this information, Jones and the player went to Dylan to ask him a few questions.
Dylan told the team that he was desperate to buy the Amish land and when he sent Tom to help him buy it, the victim tried to stop Dylan. Dylan became angry and both of them started fighting with each other.
After Ezekiel Hersberger's detainment, the police would eventually find out that Dylan would enter Tom's dormitory for business, and that the police needed to examine a briefcase. After examining the documents, it was actually an act of fraud and forgery made by Dylan, and the police did not hesitate to fine the land buyer for land buying dishonesty.
