Cheng was a gang leader who had his hair in a pompadour. At the time of his death, Fang donned a gray tiger stripe-printed fur coat and two golden chains. It was known that Cheng was a smoker.
Cheng was found in the Great Wall of China with a plastic bag covering his head. Jack and the player deduced the bag was used to suffocate him—registering the plastic bag as the murder weapon. With May Douglas' little help, Angela also determined Cheng's killer poisoned him with camphor to disorient him and commit the murder without him putting up a fight. Angela determined the killer knew traditional Chinese medicine to calculate the required amount of camphor to do so.
Killer and motives
The killer turned out to be the victim's wife named Fang Di Yun.
After she denied involvement, Yun said that she killed her husband in order to stop his cruelty to the children in his pickpocket gang. Yun was pushed to her limit when she found out Cheng beat one of the children, Bai Bai, with a belt. Judge Adaku sentenced her to 10 years in jail for the murder of Fang Cheng.
