Events of Criminal Case

James was the person who saw Dan being murdered and reported it to the police. They interrogated him and he stated what he saw and said that he was a barge driver. He also told the police that he'd found a drug package at the main crime scene, which finally led Jones and the player to arrest the killer, Bulldog.

In the Additional Investigation of the case, James requested the team's help to find his delivery form for his job. The team willingly agreed and successfully found his delivery form and deciphered the address, and then gave it back to James.

Trivia

  • In the Additional Investigation cover image of the case, James is seen wearing a skull badge, but in reality, he never wore it during the case. Perhaps it was a mistake by the developers of the game.
  • James may have been modeled after fictional character Jay who appears in a fictional universe created by Kevin Smith called "The View Askewniverse".
