Events of Criminal Case

Sarah became a suspect after Maddie and the player encountered her at the crime scene. She explained that she was the one who found the body after she arrived at the courthouse with her mop and bucket. She said that she only saw the victim in passing as the comings and goings of the courthouse didn't concern her.

Sarah was spoken to again about a locket revealing that her brother was Elmer Wentworth, Archie's valet who committed suicide to protect him at his last party in Elysium Fields. The locket also bore a message revealing that she would avenge him. She said that the victim was the reason her brother committed murder and suicide, and the scandal cost her her job as the governess of a wealthy Swiss family. When Maddie suggested that she took matters into her own hands, she said that she could've killed him if she wanted to, but swore that he was dead on the scales when she found him.

Sarah was found to be innocent after the team incarcerated Samson Drake for Archie's murder.
