|Full name||Shane Kolinsky|
|Cause of death||Food poisoning|
|Affiliation(s)||The Crimson Order|
|Appears in||Criminal Case (mentioned)|
Shane Kolinsky (also known as "The Slayer") is a minor character in Criminal Case, and happens to be the killer of Nautical Museum designer Donna King as foretold in Ashes to Ashes (Case #55 of Grimsborough).
Shane sported a bald-headed look and wore a rain jacket and was of medium-to-average build. Although Shane was a member of The Crimson Order, not too much is known about him since he was only mentioned when the team finally figured out the reasons as to why Samuel King committed suicide to avoid being sentenced.
Events of Criminal Case
Shane was thoughtful of slaying Donna through a forced robbery, but when the team listened to an audio recording issued by Morgan Goodwin, the death by robbery was actually a cover-up by the Crimson Order as in reality, Chief King became disillusioned with the Order's ways and opted to leave the Order. The Order could not afford to let this happen as Chief King was too valuable to let go, so the Order ordered Shane to kill Donna. The moment Shane was caught red-handed killing Donna, the police arrested Shane. Shane was eventually sentenced to 30 years in jail but 2 weeks after he was detained, he died of food poisoning. Whether Chief King did this as a retaliation move or not would never be known.
