Valentina's sash.

Valentina became a suspect after the player and Carmen found her sash at the crime scene. When informed of the president's murder, she was shocked saying that no one would do that since everyone had adored him. Although Carmen disagreed with that statement, Valentina insisted he had done much for the Sovereign Democracy of Luzaguay. She left shortly after, saying there wer measures to put in place like a declaration of an emergency and an imposition of a curfew.

Valentina was interrogated again regarding an acceptance speech she recorded on her phone, two days before Adolfo's murder. She was surprised they bypassed her phone's security, but explained she would have done a better job at being president than the victim, especially to defeating the rebels. However, she said she was planning to commit a coup, not a murder; and said she was busy taking her dosage of Gabalium at the moment of the President's murder. When asked what SOMBRA's involvement was, she said she had no idea who they were.

In the end, Valentina was proven to be President Adolfo's killer. After denying involvement, Valentina admitted to the crime. Adolfo's regime excluded the elderly from public benefits like medicine, as they were considered a waste of resources. Valentina could not stand her mother's death after she had become elderly and ill. Blaming Adolfo, she sniped him from the surveillance post to take power and ensure common well-being. Judge Adaku sentenced her to 30 years in jail for the murder of Adolfo Herrera.
