A statue depicting William, seen in the background
|Full name||William Cooper|
|Family||Ashton Cooper (descendant; incarcerated)|
|Appears in||Criminal Case (mentioned)|
Not much is known about William Cooper apart from the fact that he, in 1845, built the city of Grimsborough which was only the leftovers of a small Pilgrim settlement. It is known that William and his pet dog, Ellington, had settled in the Historical Center.
One of William's known descendants is Ashton Cooper.
William was a bald man with spectacles. On his statue located in Cooper Park, William is seen holding a cane and sporting a classic shirt along with a cloak and a pair of pants, while standing next to his dog Ellington.
Events of Criminal Case
William did not play much of a role in any of the cases besides being mentioned as the founder of Grimsborough.
In A Brave New World, Ashton told the team that he was the descendant of William Cooper, who built Grimsborough in 1845, but admitted that it was only leftovers of a small Pilgrim settlement. Ashton told the team that the city had nothing to do with the pilgrims, but viewed Grimsborough as his ancestor's lifelong work, as well as his family's.
